ABOUT US
AWT stands for Aldaz Water Team, the team of passionate water sports enthusiasts created by Edgar Aldaz. This team has been in existence for more than 10 years and Edgar Aldaz and several members of his team have been involved in water sports for more than 20 years.
AWT has the intention to train great athletes to reach competition levels, so that anyone can learn and enjoy these sports or simply have a good time in the water practising the sport you like.
In AWT it doesn’t matter your age or your level in any of the modalities since we are here to teach you any of them or to make you improve your level if you already practice these sports.
We have the most advanced technology in boats and equipment so that you can practice in the best conditions, as well as having the great privilege of being able to practice in such a paradisiacal place as the south of Gran Canaria.
Pedro Gandía Valido
Linked to water skiing since 1993 with the opening of Cable Ski Marbella, experience as a competitor from 1993 to 2004, then working and managing the WakePark from 2004 to 2013. I then moved on to water skiing by boat in my own business until 2021 when after 41 years living in Marbella, Malaga I decided to move to my homeland Gran Canaria.
Experience linked to water sports:
- Administrator, motor boating instructor, water ski instructor, Flyboard instructor, skipper of sport boats 2.013 – 2.021.
- Chief technical operator, mechanic, instructor, water ski trainer (slalom, jumping, figures, barefoot, wakeboard and wakeskate) 1998 and 2.004- 2.013 Cable ski Marbella, Parque Las Medranas s/n San Pedro de Alcántara, Marbella – Málaga
